Resetting Change Oil light
Turn on you ignition w/out starting the engine. Press on the gas pedal 3 times, all the way down. NOT TOO FAST OR TOO SLOW. The light should then go off.
Answer
If your Trailblazer/Envoy is equipped with the Driver Information Center at the bottom of the instrument cluster:
1) Change your oil filter and oil.
2) Turn on your ignition w/out starting the engine.
3) Navigate to the oil life 0% display using the fuel info button (gas pump icon).
4) Push / hold the select button (arrow icon) until it resets back to oil life 100% (+/-10 seconds)
5) Take a test drive and drop off your used oil at a recycling station...

Atleast you can reset the service interval stuff without a scan tool, more cars should be like that

Its a nice vehicle.. I looked at a few this weekend at a fleet/dealer excess sale for one for myself. The Vortec Atlas 6 bangers got a lot of power and delivers excellent economy (18mpg combine, 295HP !).
Here's some more pix I took this afternoon;

Still have the M3? im sure the 508 would love some real power
Or are we saving that for the new car?

I'm in the market for a Trailblazer of my own, or Chevy Tahoe, in which case I'd like to fit my subs and M3 to it.
This is the extent to which I intend to go with the Trailblazer.. as its the wifes vehicle
about all I'd do is replace the front speakers maybe, but thats it.
