Not to sure about the sausage surround, and small spider in the second pic though.

Not to sure they'll ever make to market (2nd pix). Dont forget it IS 22" in diameter, so the huge surround is a necessity, and I guess they just re-used the same 99/Z motor and spider assembly thats common across the range.

Nah, the motor looks a little different from the usual Z motor. Basket is different, so the spider would have to be different as well. Also, the coil looks like it's a bit larger than the usual 3" DD coil.

Dunno.. still better than the usual 2" coils and 70 once motors you see on a giant cone..
