Nothing an engine conversion can't fix...

Its AUTO too!!

For $4k im not interested.....i'd rather find one for under a grand and spend the other $3k on mods / SPL gear ;)

I told you if you come up with the money you can buy the grey one off me right now. I'm pretty sick of it ATM..

With the equipment I've got 150 should be attainable, but it might not be easy. My killing factor is old seals, rust hole leaks and lack of power.

Yeah, its a bit of a waste.. probably a special edition mangled up, or a dealer fit.

Tried plumbing stores and the like, 4" is the biggest I can locate.. with 5mm thick walls :O

Besides, TANG tin might be fun.. and unless I'm mistaken, TANG will write you a letter to you explaining how its going to whoop yo ass, you'll get the letter, read the letter, then Pootie TANG will show up and whoop yo ass.

Interesting port there... :P

Have you tried it just after shutting the engine off (ie DB Drag style)?

But is it loud?

It goes into protect and wont come out without having the power pulled. Guess it really doesnt work on 0.5ohm :( ;)

I'll wire it up to 2ohm tonight and see how that works.

i see you have the whole port extended on the outside of the box.
will it make a difference if i add the port displacement to the box and
put the port on the inside totally. just for cosmetics. thanks

The usual way is to figure out the port displacement (0.1 ft^3 is a good estimate), make the box a little bit larger then have the whole port inside the enclosure. So yes, your idea is right :)

In which you can quite clearly see his old 158dB with 4x 10"s enclosure and his newer 159dB with 4x 10"s enclosures both DONT use 45's ???

Anyone have any feedback on this ? I'll gladly not waste 2 hours doing 45's if they're not gunna be helping me :O

[edit: train spotters will note Jasons box & Terry Mk2 box are almost identical.. IIRC Terry designed Jason's enclosure ;) ]

Do not use 45's I'm assuming those are angled corners inside the box dont not use them they will impead the compression load at the beginning of the port entrance.
