October 5, 2010 (MILWAUKEE) – OPTIMA® Batteries announces the highly-anticipated first group of drivers and one-of-a-kind vehicles selected to participate in the 2010 OPTIMA Batteries Ultimate Street Car Invitational. The invitation-only event will take place on Saturday, November 6 – right on the heels of the leading specialty automotive trade event, the SEMA Show. Held at Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch in Pahrump, Nevada, this Invitational will challenge up to 50 of the finest street machines in the world, showcasing the quality, performance and talent of the country's top builders, performance parts manufacturers and car owners.

“The OPTIMA Ultimate Street Car Invitational (OUSCI) began as a small enthusiast event a few years ago as way to promote the street car enthusiast hobby by showcasing the finest vehicles, both import and domestic, cars and trucks, that use the best parts in a fun, yet competitive environment,” says Cam Douglass, OUSCI founder and director of product development and marketing for OPTIMA Batteries. “It’s been fun to see the industry get involved over the years, helping the Invitational grow into a world-class, internationally-publicized and unique event.”
